1. 스콜피온스는 누구인가? 스콜피온스는 독일이 자랑하는 그룹사운드이다. 그룹은 1965년으로 거슬러올라간다. 이들은 11월에 출생하여 그룹 이름을 스콜피온스라고 명명했다고 한다. (10월 24일 - 11월 22일에 태어난 자는 전갈 별자리의 운명을 타고난다고 한다.) 루돌프 셍커는 자르슈테트 출신의 기타리스트인데, 몇몇 친구들과 함께 그룹을 결성하여, 음악을 연주하곤 하였다. 그들은 주로 비틀즈를 연주하였다.

2. 스콜피온스의 역사: 1966년 스콜피온스가 결성된다. 이때만 하더라도 루돌프 셍커와 미하엘 셍커 형제가 음악의 주축을 이루었다고 해도 과언이 아니다. 1971년 클라우스 마이네가 보컬로 합세하여, 스콜피온스의 본연의 특색이 드러난다.

루돌프 셍커와 그의 아내의 모습. 루돌프 셍커는 많은 곡을 작곡하였다. 공연시에는 주로 리듬 기타를 연주한다.
마티아스 얍스. 그는 리드 기타를 연주하면서, 스콜피온스를 이끈다.
영국 수상 맥밀런은 1960년 아프리카에서 "변화의 버람"이라는 연설을 행했다. 그는 프랑스의 알제리 전쟁을 염두에 두었던 것이다. 1988년 고르바초프의 등장 이후에 리드 보컬 클라우스 마이네는 다음과 같이 말했다. "냉전이 사라지고 데땅트의 분위기가 도래하면, 음악이 사람들을 연대할 것입니다." 1989년 스콜피온스의 "Wind of Change"는 불과 2년 내에 1400만의 싱글판이 팔려나갔다.
